I'm working on some craft things. Ideas are a brewing. I was suppose to get a book from the library called Stitch 'n' Bitch but I didn't get around to picking it up from hold. I've been wanting a nice hanging light for my room so that would be a cool project.
I haven't really knitted in a while but I'm trying to start up again. I have tried knitting socks using double pointed needles but all I've managed to do was to make knots. I'm going to look around and see if there is a pattern using the magic loop method.
I never heard of the magic loop method so looked it up. I have a book - "How to Knit Socks Three Methods Made Easy" by Edie Eckman that has instructions for three methods for knitting socks. Basic sock on double-pointed needles, two circular needles & one circular needle (looks like this is the the magic loop method but doesn't refer to it as such). Think I'm going to give it a try - tried making a pair of socks using double pointed needles but found it really awkward.

How's your knitting coming along? Have you tried knitting socks yet?
